Instructions

  • Soak the cedar plank for at least 1 hour in water.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high.
  • Combine the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a small mixing bowl.
  • Place the salmon fillet on the soaked cedar plank, skin side down.
  • Apply the olive oil to the salmon fillet.
  • Evenly distribute the spice mixture over the salmon fillet.
  • Close the lid and place the cedar plank with the salmon on the grill.
