Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, brown sugar, and sesame oil.
  • Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets in a large resealable bag.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes after sealing the bag.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet after removing them from the marinade.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine cornstarch and water.
  • Bring the remaining marinade to a boil in a small saucepan.
  • Reduce to a low heat and whisk in the cornstarch mixture.
  • Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  • Garnish the salmon with green onions and sesame seeds and serve with teriyaki sauce.
